More online gifts and 'featured items' every day this week through Friday, November 30
Walmart.com is giving customers another special Christmas gift as it kicks off Cyber Monday with five days of online specials, only available at Walmart.com (http://www.walmart.com). Starting today and through Friday (Nov. 30), Walmart.com is offering significant savings on the season's best gifts in Electronics, Toys, Video Games, Home Furnishings and Apparel.
Walmart.com has nearly tripled the number of Cyber Week online specials this year since last year, and is adding new items each day this week. Also, the online retailer is introducing a "daily featured item" each day this week for online purchase on that particular day. In fact, today's featured item is the Xbox 360 Premium Holiday Value Bundle complete with the Xbox 360 Premium console, an extra controller, three games and messenger bag -- all under $400 today, while supplies last. Also, customers can find a preview teaser of the next day's featured item on the Walmart.com homepage (http://www.walmart.com).
"We feel customers want the chance to enjoy unbelievable online specials beyond just a single day," said Raul Vazquez, Walmart.com CEO. "That's why last year we were one of the first to introduce five days of online specials on Cyber Monday, and why we're making it even bigger for our customers this year with more items and daily specials."
Walmart.com's Cyber Week specials offer an average savings of more than 25 percent on some of the season's most popular gifts including:
-- Samsung 40" LCD HDTV -- $1,198.00
-- Thomas the Tank Engine Playhut -- $10.00
-- HP 7 MP Digital Camera, Printer and 1 GB Card -- $188.00
-- Starbucks Choice Cafe Gift Basket -- $25.00
-- TomTom One Portable GPS Bundle -- $162.00
-- Flip Video 60-Minute Camcorder, Tripod and Case -- $149.00
-- Smoky Quartz Cocktail Ring -- $60.00
More items will be added every day through Friday, and customers are encouraged to check back each day to find new products and the daily featured item. Customers can also enjoy free shipping on thousands of items by using Site to Store(SM), which allows customers to order products online at Walmart.com and have them shipped for free to a local Wal-Mart store. Since March, customers have saved more than $25 million in shipping fees by using the service, which now accounts for more than one-third of all Walmart.com sales.
