Men’s styles incorporate Croslite rt™ for maximum comfort; kids’ styles allow Jibbitz customization
MAGIC Show 2007
booth #CL 19709
Crocs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX) announced it has taken the versatility of its proprietary Croslite™ material to new heights with the introduction of its first apparel line set to launch this October. Retailers will be given the first opportunity to view Crocs’ Holiday ’07 apparel lines for men and children at the Crocs booth #CL 19709 at MAGIC Marketplace in Las Vegas from Aug. 27-30, 2007.
Select pieces in the men’s apparel collection incorporate a new form of Crocs’ proprietary material, Croslite™, already known in Crocs™ footwear. The new material, Croslite rt™, which stands for “relaxed technology”, makes garments lightweight, versatile, breathable, and durable. In addition, Croslite rt™ enables garments to be resistant to harsh chemicals and heat, ensuring longevity after exposure to sun, UV light and sweat.
“A broad range of consumers have become familiar with Crocs’ unique material, Croslite™, and the benefits it provides to footwear,” said Ron Snyder, CEO of Crocs. “We are excited to now have the ability to develop and integrate a new form of Croslite™ into Crocs Apparel that is ideal for function, performance and comfort.”
In a color palette that complements Crocs’ Fall ’07 line of footwear, the Niwot Short and Long Sleeve Tees (MSRP $36 – $40) for men are made of blended cotton and Croslite rt™, and incorporate contrast stitching to coordinate with the graphics on the pocket of each tee. The White Rock Long and Short Sleeve Woven Shirts (MSRP $54 – $58) feature Croslite rt™ and are wire friendly with portals in the chest pocket for earphone wires. All Crocs men’s tops are available in sizes S – XXL, and bottoms are available in waist sizes 30 – 42.
Crocs’ new line of children’s apparel for little girls and boys features a color palette that compliments Crocs’ shoes and bags for kids. All shorts, pants and skirts in the line can be accessorized and customized with Jibbitz charms. The girls Happy Skirt (MSRP $38) and boys Explorer Shorts (MSRP $38) include a Jibbitz portal in the pocket flap, and an adjustable waist and rollup cuffs offer room to grow. Girls apparel pieces are available in sizes 2T – 6X, and boys pieces are available in sizes 2T - 7.
Crocs apparel will be available to consumers in late October – just in time for holiday shopping – at select retailers and online at www.crocs.com. Crocs also has plans to introduce a spring ’08 apparel line that will further expand the use of Croslite rt™.
