Gujarat is fast emerging as the favourite location to replace Singur for the setting up of the mother plant for Tata Motors' Nano. The state however faces tough competition from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, but sources in the state government indicate that industry-friendly Gujarat is likely to bag the coveted project.
