JobsInTheUS.com (JIUS) Employment Index for the second quarter 2007 showed job openings dipped four percent, reflecting the softness in the housing, auto, and wider service sectors, as compared to the Second Quarter of 2006. Despite the Index's slight decline in job openings, JIUS Web site visits increased significantly to 22 percent over last year's Index for the same time period. Healthcare continued to be the leading industry for recruitment postings along with customer support, followed by manufacturing, sales and clerical, respectively.
