Sizzler's New Steak Burgers Put Home-made Picnics on the Back Burner
Limited-time offer also includes new seasonal salads
Sizzler is moving the favorite summer picnic indoors with limited-time offers of made-to-order steak burgers, two seasonal salads and specialty lemonade drinks.
The Blue Cheese burger features a fire-grilled one-third pound beef pattie topped with crumbled blue cheese and sauteed onions on a potato bun for $6.49. The Bacon Mushroom Swiss burger comes with bacon, sauteed mushrooms and melted Swiss cheese on a potato bun for $6.99. French fries, a pickle and Sizzler's famous cheese toast accompany the steak burgers.
No picnic would be complete without potato and pasta salads, so Sizzler has introduced a patriotic red, white and blue potato salad and a BBQ corn pasta salad to its Fresh 'n' Tasty salad bar.
Finally, there is nothing like a tall glass of lemonade on a hot summer day. Sizzler has updated the traditional beverage by infusing it with a choice of strawberry, mango or raspberry flavors for a thirst-quenching alternative.
"Sizzler's steak burger entrees put fast-food burgers to shame," said Mike Branigan, vice president of Marketing. "They look amazing. They taste amazing. And they are offered at nothing short of an amazing price."
The limited-time offer begins this week at participating Sizzlers. The picnic ends September 16.
For nearly 50 years, Sizzler has served great steaks, seafood and salad -- always at a great value. Acquired by Pacific Equity Partners in September 2005, Sizzler owns or franchises more than 300 mid-scale casual dining restaurants worldwide. Having updated its restaurants, menus and marketing, Sizzler is expanding in the U.S., Asia and Latin America.
