Discovery Offers Free Attraction Passes to Kids
The offer includes Grand Bahama and South Florida attractions
Discovery Cruise Line, the region's largest tour operator to Grand Bahama Island carrying up to 200,000 passengers a year, is offering kids under 6 the opportunity to sail and stay free with Discovery, and this summer kids also get free attraction passes to some exciting places in both the Bahamas and South Florida, making this the best summer value for lots of fun. To be eligible for the promotion each child under 6 must be accompanied on board Discovery and to the attraction by a full fare paying adult. One child per adult.
The following attractions are participating in the promotion: in Grand Bahama: Bahamian Getaway Island Tour, Glass Bottom Boat, Fantasia Snorkel Tour, and UNEXCO'S Dolphin Close Encounter; in South Florida: Butterfly World, Lion Country Safari, Mai-Kai Restaurant, Miami Seaquarium, and Jungle Island.

Hahn, General Manager of Discovery, "This is the first time in the history of Discovery that we are offering packages that include exciting Grand Bahama and South Florida attractions that are 'must sees' for residents and visitors alike. And, these packages provide families with the opportunity to entertain their kids at these attractions during the Summer months free. Tickets to the Grand Bahama attractions must be purchased on board during the cruise. Tickets to the South Florida attractions will be provided to passengers during the cruise.
The cruise price includes games, activities, even Discovery's Kid's Club. Plus, there's "grown up fun" on board, with a Las Vegas-style casino, live music, shows, and much more. And, you have plenty of room to stretch your legs on one of the spacious decks.
Discovery sails daily from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale to Grand Bahama Island, departing at 7:45 am and returning at 10 pm. Discovery offers same day roundtrip cruises as well as cruise and stay vacation packages at most of the island's hotels.
