Help Make the World’s Best Workwear Even Better: Carhartt, Inc. is Recruiting for Its Weartest Team
One of the differences that make Carhartt® workwear legendary for its durability, comfort and fit is the way that Carhartt products are tested by actual workers in real-world work conditions. Active workers who have an interest in helping shape the future of workwear are invited to join Carhartt’s weartester panel by visiting www.carhartt.com/weartest.
From jackets to socks, overalls to gloves and everything in between, Carhartt weartesters are provided with prototype or existing products to wear in their real-life jobs and personal lives. Testers fill out surveys, discuss their feedback with Carhartt researchers and receive Carhartt products as thanks for their efforts.
“Our weartesters are a fundamental part of our product development and ongoing product improvement process,” said Amy Burgdorf, Carhartt’s director of market research and strategy. “Their feedback translates directly into product development and improvements that end up benefiting all of our consumers.”
Because of the breadth of Carhartt’s product line, the company is looking for active worker weartesters from as many regions, work environments and job descriptions as possible. With the launch of the new Carhartt for Women™ line in Fall 2007 and its planned growth over subsequent seasons, Carhartt is especially recruiting active worker women who want to be a part of developing the first line of premium workwear designed especially for women.
