The Melting Pot Unveils New Four-course Fondue Feature
National Fondue Restaurant Franchise Launches New Big Night Out® Menu Item
The Melting Pot Restaurants Inc., the nation’s largest fondue restaurant franchise, announced the nationwide rollout of its new Big Night Out four-course menu item that will offer new food choices and flavor profiles that are available for a limited time only. The Big Night Out is The Melting Pot’s most popular menu item, and it changes throughout year to reflect different seasonal flavors.
Now through June 2007, the Big Night Out four-course fondue dinner features the new Feng Shui Cheese Fondue, Mandarin and Almond Salad, and new entrée choices of white shrimp, sweet curry chicken breast and ahi tuna. The fourth course is The Melting Pot’s popular Yin & Yang Chocolate Fondue dessert.
Feng Shui Cheese Fondue is a blend of Fontina and Butterkase cheeses with a serene touch of rice wine, sake, minced shallots, garlic and scallions. The new Mandarin and Almond Salad offers a fresh mix of Romaine lettuce, red cabbage and carrots topped with toasted almonds, wonton strips, mandarin orange wedges, and a light soy ginger dressing. For their entrées, guests may choose the Fondue Feast, Fondue Fusion or Lobster Indulgence.
The Fondue Feast includes ahi tuna, white shrimp, teriyaki-marinated sirloin, filet mignon, sweet curry chicken breast and potstickers. With the Fondue Fusion guests receive a lobster tail, white shrimp, ahi tuna, teriyaki-marinated sirloin, filet mignon, sweet curry chicken breast and potstickers. The Lobster Indulgence includes twin lobster tails, white shrimp, ahi tuna, teriyaki-marinated sirloin, sweet curry chicken breast and potstickers.
For the finale, the Yin & Yang Chocolate Fondue features an equal measure of dark chocolate and white chocolate artfully swirled together for a perfect balance of flavors.
