Parade.com's Year-End Pop-Culture Poll Reveals: Americans Most Want to be Stranded on an Island With Stephen Colbert; Plus: Cutest Celeb Baby, Most Annoying Celebrity, Hottest Mom-To-Be and Which Star Will Marry Next

You've seen their names plastered in headlines throughout 2007, but which headline shocked you the most? Which rehab-grad will stay clean for the long haul? Who's the hottest bachelor of them all? Some of our answers will surprise you! Parade.com polled Americans about their opinions on pop culture, entertainment, celebrities and more. Here are some highlights:

-- When asked which "politico" Americans would most want to be stranded
with on an island, "truthiness" prevailed! Twenty-nine percent of
respondents chose Stephen Colbert over Hillary Clinton (23%), Barack
Obama (19%), George W. Bush (17%) and Rudy Giuliani (12%).
-- There were many shocking headlines in 2007, but Owen Wilson's suicide
attempt shocked 60% of Americans most. Paris Hilton actually serving
jail time came in second with 24%. Not as shocking were High School
Musical's Vanessa Hudgens' nude pics surfacing online (9%) and Britney
     Spears' child-custody battle (7%).
-- Babies, babies everywhere, but which one is the cutest? Ben and Jen's
little Violet Affleck has been named the most adorable celeb baby
(36%). Other cute celeb spawns include Tom and Katie's daughter, Suri
     Cruise (20%), Brad and Angelina's daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt (18%),
the late Anna Nicole Smith and photog Larry Birkhead's daughter,
Dannielynn Smith (17%), and Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale's son
     Kingston (9%).
-- It's easy to make maternity clothes look chic when you're Halle Berry.
Fifty-nine percent of respondents think Halle is the hottest mommy-to
be in Hollywood. Other hot (soon-to-be) mamas include: Jennifer Lopez
(19%), Christina Aguilera (18%) and Nicole Richie (3%).
-- Speaking of Halle Berry, respondents also think she is the celeb that
is most likely to marry next (47%). Next in line to walk down the aisle
are: Matthew McConaughey (24%), Brad Pitt (18%), George Clooney (9%)
     and Oprah (2%).
-- 2007 was a big year for bad events in the sports industry. Respondents
thought Michael Vick's vicious dogfighting ring was the worst, with 59%
of the votes. Other incidents include Don Imus's racial slurs against
the Rutgers Women's Basketball Team (17%), Marion Jones' steroid
scandal (16%), Bill Belichick's video spying (6%) and Isaiah Thomas'
     sexual harassment suit (3%).
-- Dozens of boldface names visited rehab this year, but which one will
stay clean for the long haul? Looks like Nicole Kidman may not have
anything to worry about -- Keith Urban came in first place with an
overwhelming 55% of the vote. Mel Gibson came in second with 32%.
Perhaps Lindsay Lohan (5%), David Hasselhoff (5%) and Courtney Love
(2%) should try hard to lay off the sauce?
-- A whopping 69% think domestic diva Martha Stewart is the celeb jailbird
that is most likely to stay out of jail. Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton
came in next, with 12% and 10% of votes, respectively.
-- Some stars irk us more than others, but 44% of Parade.com respondents
think Rosie O'Donnell is the most annoying celeb out there. Paris
Hilton (24%), Ann Coulter (16%), Heather Mills McCartney (12%) and
Perez Hilton (4%) are next in line for the title.
-- The most-overexposed celebrity award goes to none other than Miss
Britney Spears (50%). One-time Brit sidekick Paris Hilton comes in
     second place with 32%.
-- Hollywood is filled with so much young talent. Miley Cyrus and Daniel
Radcliffe tied for the most talented young celeb, with 25% of the votes
each. Following behind them were Shia LeBeouf (17%), Hayden Panettiere
     (16%), Rihanna (10%) and Zac Efron (7%).
-- Not surprisingly, the overwhelming majority thinks Britney Spears needs
a parenting class most (87%). Brit's recent "parenting don'ts" seemed
to overshadow other tabloid moms Dina Lohan (6%), Courtney Love (4%),
Pam Anderson (2%) and Kate Moss (1%).

according to our poll. Brooke Shields came in second with 23%. Angelina
Jolie came in third place with 14%, Katie Holmes and Gwen Stefani tied
for fourth with 6% each, and Madonna came in next with 5%.
-- Let's face it. Many of us covet the sweet life of Hollywood stars. So
Parade.com asked respondents: If you could play "swap with the stars,"
who would you most want to ...
