Red Lobster Welcomes the Holiday Season with New Menu

Take a Break from the Entertaining Marathon and Enjoy Delicious New Dishes at Red Lobster

With the holiday rush and the pressures of party planning looming, Red Lobster has a solution. America's leading seafood restaurant is adding even more exciting new items to its menu, including delicious new seafood dishes, sides and desserts. Red Lobster invites guests to take a break from their busy holiday preparations and enjoy the new variety of foods in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

"These new menu items are just the latest step as we continue to refresh the Red Lobster brand," said Red Lobster President Kim Lopdrup.

The new menu items include two entrees, three premium sides - two featuring lobster meat - and three desserts-the restaurant's first new dessert introductions in several years. The new menu also includes two signature cocktails and a new wine list.

They are the latest improvements in Red Lobster's menu. Restaurants across North America recently began offering an expanded fresh fish program, featuring up to eight species of fresh fish that change daily based on availability and customer preference.

     shrimp tossed with fresh asparagus and tomatoes in a creamy white wine

     classic with a fire-grilled New York Strip topped with Maine lobster
     meat, tender shrimp and fresh asparagus in a creamy white wine and

  -- New Warm Apple Crumble a la Mode - Tender apples baked until golden
     with a crumbly brown sugar, cinnamon, walnut and almond topping. Served
     warm with vanilla ice cream
  -- New York-Style Cheesecake with Strawberries - A rich and creamy classic
     topped with fresh strawberries

  Cocktails
  -- Malibu Hurricane - A refreshing combination of Malibu coconut rum and
     tropical fruit juices, topped with a splash of Southern Comfort
  -- Biscayne Bay Breeze - Malibu coconut rum in a tropical blend of
     pineapple juice and grenadine, topped with a splash of cranberry juice

Red Lobster's new wine selections include Cavit Pinot Grigio, BV Coastal Estates Sauvignon Blanc, Robert Mondavi Private Selection Chardonnay, Columbia Crest Two Vines Merlot, Sutter Home Merlot, Rex Goliath! Pinot Noir and Excelsior Cabernet Sauvignon.
