America's Young Millionaires: Secrets of the Best and Brightest Revealed by Entrepreneur

October Millionaires Issue Unveils Magazine's All-New Redesign

Entrepreneur magazine makes its annual selection of America's young millionaires taking control of their destinies and reaping the ultimate rewards of business ownership. This year's picks include the entrepreneurs behind everything from all-natural granola products to online advertising, upscale clothing lines, xylitol products and green residential buildings.

While their business ventures are varied, the young millionaires all have passion, courage and inspiration in common. Take Amy Smilovic of Tibi, an upscale boutique clothing line. After relocating to Hong Kong, Smilovic noticed no one made clothing to fit a modern Western woman's lifestyle in Asia. That's when she decided to fill the gap with Tibi, eventually expanding as far as Istanbul, London and Moscow with projected 2007 sales of $21 million.

Thanks to a surf trip to Brazil and the entrepreneurs of Sambazon -- Ryan Black, Ed Nichols and Jeremy Black -- the acai berry made its own expansion into the U.S. The nation's first suppliers of the Brazilian berry popular for its unique flavor and nutritional properties are enjoying a projected $15 million to $20 million in 2007 sales.

For John Vechey, Brian Fiete and Jason Kapalka of PopCap Games, the secret to success was in staying focused and keeping product quality high. With 2007 projected sales of more than $20 million, it's no question the creators and providers of popular downloadable games like Bejeweled, Bookworm, Chuzzle and Peggle made the right moves.

The October issue of Entrepreneur featuring these and many other young millionaires also unveils the magazine's newly redesigned look as well as more practical insights on managing daily business challenges. The magazine has continually evolved over the course of 30 years, and this latest makeover brings not just a bolder and more sophisticated look but also more tips, tools and inspiration for those just starting out or already hitting multimillionaire status.

Says Rieva Lesonsky, senior VP and editorial director of Entrepreneur, "Growth is as essential to us as to the entrepreneurs we're committed to serving. Like our readers, we're constantly reinventing and thinking ahead -- ensuring we provide the information entrepreneurs need to take action on new opportunities, market changes, technologies and more."

New cutting-edge columns with the redesign include "Doing Good" by MSNBC anchorperson JJ Ramberg, featuring entrepreneurs whose business models are based on giving back to their communities and the world. Rosalind Resnick heads up the "Advisor" column in the Money section to answer readers' financial questions, and Heather Clancy keeps entrepreneurs up-to-date on Web 2.0, 3.0 and beyond in "Web Sight."
